Auction Management Specialist

About the role

You'll manage vehicle auctions for OEMs in the daily operations, taking operational responsibility for the strategic distribution of vehicles across showrooms and optimizing auction processes. This role involves monitoring ongoing auctions, ensuring data quality, and maintaining customer relationships to support sales optimization.

What you'll do

• Take operational responsibility for daily auction management and strategically distribute vehicles to the right showrooms for optimal presentation
• Control strategic vehicle distribution on the platform to create optimal conditions for balanced and sales-optimized marketing
• Monitor ongoing auctions, supplement missing information and optimize data quality
• Maintain direct customer contact to collect missing vehicle data and ensure information completeness
• Handle internal requests and inquiries related to vehicle auctions

What you'll need

• Proven professional experience as Operations Manager or in comparable operational positions, preferably with startup experience
• Structured and careful working approach with ability to systematically execute processes and identify error sources
• Passion for process scaling and continuous optimization, actively shaping processes from A to Z
• Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace or MS Office, including formulas like SUMIFS, VLOOKUP and creating pivot tables for data analysis
• Very good German skills (minimum C1 level) and English (minimum B2 level) written and spoken

Nice to have

• First automation experience with tools like Make, Zapier or similar platforms
• Additional languages such as French or Spanish
