About the role

The Director of Sales – International owns the full P&L for the International region at an AI-driven industrial trade platform. You'll drive GMV growth, manage margin discipline, and lead a high-performing sales team while working closely with the VP of Sales to ensure strategic alignment with company goals.

What you'll do

  • Own commercial performance for International region with full accountability for revenue targets, output, margin, and pipeline quality
  • Define and execute commercial strategy for the market, identifying new verticals and partnership opportunities
  • Build, train, and scale the International sales team with clear performance rhythms and daily KPIs
  • Provide market intelligence and data-driven insights to leadership on trends and performance
  • Oversee pipeline management and forecasting to ensure deal progression and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Revenue Operations to optimize sales processes and AI-assisted workflows
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales talent while maintaining high employee engagement
  • Ensure Salesforce data integrity to support accurate forecasting and operational efficiency

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in marketplaces, digital trade, logistics, or materials distribution
  • Proven track record of scaling high-velocity sales teams
  • Strong commercial math skills: pricing, working capital, contribution margin, competitive landscapes
  • Team management experience with ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Strong CRM experience; familiarity with Salesforce preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Thrives in fast-paced, office-only environment with daily execution rhythms
