About the role
As the Head of Marketplace Integrity, you will establish and lead a new pillar within the Care department, dedicated to preventing fraud, abuse, and platform exploitation. You'll own proactive detection, rapid response, and cross-functional initiatives to protect trust, fairness, within our marketplace for our travelers, suppliers and partners, and financial/reputational health at GetYourGuide.
What you'll do
- Build and scale a centralized Marketplace Integrity function handling all fraud, abuse, and trust issues across the marketplace
- Act as the single point of contact for all marketplace integrity topics across the company; set clear vision, priorities, and KPIs and targets
- Surface and size new abuse vectors, and drive prioritization with Product, Tech, Business, leveraging the support of exec sponsors
- Oversee operational ticket review, tactical analysis (pattern detection, dashboards), and incident response
- Partner cross-functionally (Product, Legal, Policy, Data) to deliver fixes for abuse and fraud root causes
- Lead quarterly "Fraud & Abuse Round Table" and ensure seamless process, reporting, and knowledge sharing
- Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams (this role is comprised of 3 functional teams: 1/Fraud, 2/Marketplace Abuse, 3/Trust & Safety)
- Champion the adoption of new tools/tech (AI, monitoring) to stay ahead of evolving threats
What you'll need
- 8+ years in marketplace integrity, trust & safety, or fraud roles; experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of AI tools used for detection and prevention of fraud/abuse; up to date with emerging AI-driven threats and countermeasures
- Demonstrated ability to identify new marketplace risks—especially those accelerated by automation and generative AI
- Deep analytical skills, data-driven thinker, comfortable leveraging advanced technologies and dashboards to surface trends
- Proven collaborator, able to influence across executive and technical teams in a complex, evolving environment
- Skilled at balancing urgent operations with long-term strategic initiatives that protect both customer experience and marketplace health
- Strong communicator - able to translate complex risk/AI topics into clear narratives
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
