Business Engineer Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Engineer Analyst to join our Business Analytics department, which empowers top management with data-driven insights and concepts to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do

• Work closely with our stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and decision-making needs.
• Develop, optimize and maintain scalable data models within the business analytics ecosystem
• Carry out data integration tasks with Python (pulling, transforming and storing data from and to Redshift and Mysql/Postgre dbs)
• Partner with the Data Engineering team, understanding and discussing data and development concepts at eye level
• Build automated analytics solutions that provide high-quality insights to the key stakeholders and support strategic decision-making across the business
• Bring software engineering best practice to the analytics space and act as a bridge between the tech and business

What you'll need

• Bachelor/Master's degree in computer science, informatics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or related quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in writing and deploying well-designed, high-quality Python code and using Python in data related development
• Strong SQL skills and experience in working with relational DBMSs and RS DWH (MySQL/ PostgreSQL and Redshift)
• Professional experience with data extraction / transformation & data quality assurance (DBT/Airflow)
• Experience in working with Git/Github
• Has inquisitive mindset and critical thinking skills, enjoys solving problems and takes ownership of projects
