About the role

The data-driven network logistics department has the main task to manage a Europe-wide network of more than 200 logistics partners. As our new Logistics Business Development Manager, you will work proactively with a great team of dynamic, innovative, and motivated people in our headquarters in Berlin.

What you'll do

  • Own the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with suppliers, landlords, and partners, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the entire tendering process for new logistics solutions, from preparing tender documents to evaluating proposals and implementation.
  • Oversee the logistics administration system, ensuring efficient management of information and processes.
  • Contribute to achieving P&L targets by managing costs and providing detailed reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and develop expertise in your areas of responsibility.
  • Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects with the aim of exceeding expectations and driving business improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service quality within the logistics network.

What you'll need

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or another related field of study.
  • Passion for moving tasks forward, taking full ownership of projects, and leadership skills that inspire the people you work with.
  • Ability to manage priorities simultaneously to meet time-sensitive deadlines while staying within budget.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to summarize quantitative concepts into a digestible format.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with external partners and manage them independently.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in parcel logistics, automotive logistics, finished vehicle logistics, transportation, real estate, or network design.
  • Other European languages (especially German, French, Spanish, Italian).
  • Industry knowledge and existing network of contacts within automotive logistics or delivery space.
