About the role

This is an invitation to join our Talent Pool for engineers and researchers. Whether your strength lies in designing deep learning architectures or building the robust data foundations that make those models possible, you'll be the first person we call when a specific headcount opens up in our ML or Data Engineering tracks.

What you'll do

  • Model Innovation: Designing, training, and optimizing deep learning models for speech enhancement, source separation, and sequence-to-sequence audio problems
  • Data Architecture: Owning the lifecycle of audio datasets—from sourcing and recording to building complex synthetic simulation pipelines that reflect real-world acoustics
  • Evaluation Rigor: Developing sophisticated diagnostics and benchmarking tools to ensure our models don't just work in the lab, but thrive in messy, real-world VoIP and recording environments
  • MLOps & Tooling: Improving our internal infrastructure and cloud-based training setups to accelerate iteration and ensure high-quality code deployment
  • Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborating with Sales and DevRel to translate technical breakthroughs into compelling demos, case studies, and customer-facing benchmarks

What you'll need

  • Audio Expertise: A deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), room acoustics, reverberation, and common noise artifacts. You know how these manifest in voice AI pipelines (VAD, STT, TTS)
  • Technical Depth: Expert-level proficiency in Python and PyTorch. You write clean, modular, and production-ready code
  • Hands-on Experience: 3+ years of experience solving non-trivial ML or Data problems end-to-end—including data curation, training, debugging, and evaluation
  • A Scientific Mindset: You take evaluation seriously. You prefer meaningful, trustworthy metrics over "vanity" numbers and enjoy digging into data to find why a model fails
  • Startup DNA: You are comfortable with ambiguity, take high levels of ownership, and are motivated by building and shipping products that customers actually use
