Software Engineer TypeScript - Order Route

About the role

Join a cross-functional tech team building Germany's largest one-stop-shop for renewable energy solutions including solar panels, heat pumps, and charging infrastructure. You'll work on business-critical applications that transform the energy market by enabling seamless booking of digital services and hardware purchases.

What you'll do

• Build and shape business-critical applications for renewable energy solutions
• Create, implement, and deploy software solutions to solve complex problems in simplified ways
• Lay foundation and architecture for lightweight, flexible and reliable application setups to scale globally
• Promote teamwork and successful project execution across cross-functional teams
• Improve developer satisfaction by reducing tech-debt, automating processes and documenting decisions
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other teams across organizational boundaries

What you'll need

• Extensive experience writing maintainable, reusable, and testable code in TypeScript
• Strong skills in frontend frameworks like React, Next.js or similar
• Broad knowledge of various architectural patterns and CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/Vercel)
• Experience working in cross-functional teams responsible for full software development lifecycle
• Pragmatic, product-focused mindset balancing technical excellence with customer value delivery
• Proficient spoken and written English skills

Nice to have

• Experience with e-commerce platforms
• Experience with NestJS in large scale applications
• German language skills
