About the role

As a Business Development Representative at Taktile, you'll drive AI adoption in Financial Services by engaging future customers in their very first interactions with us and identifying new market opportunities. It's a pivotal role that enables our sales team to focus on high-value, revenue-generating activities and is powered by leveraging your creativity, charm, grit, and strategic thinking.

What you'll do

  • Own pipeline-generating activities in your territory and outreach to strategic prospects to generate high-intent opportunities
  • Support the development and execution of strategic outbound initiatives
  • Attend conferences and host dinners to meet industry leaders across the world
  • Collaborate with the marketing, growth, and sales teams, and bring in leads applying qualification frameworks such as PACTT
  • Be supported by an ever-developing AI toolstack to automate the busywork and focus on using your brain

What you'll need

  • You are creative and proactive, always looking for ways to stand out with prospects and to improve the way we do things
  • You are customer-focused and convincing in live conversations (phone, video, face-to-face)
  • You are a problem solver and find joy in handling complexity
  • You are resilient. It can be a tough role, with lots of rejection, but the wins make it worth it!

Nice to have

  • A track record of success and achievement. In sales, sport, academically, or otherwise. We care more about what you've done than where you've done it.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
