About the role
As GTM Lead, you own how opus goes to market. You work side by side with the CEO and COO and pipeline is your territory. Your job: turn early traction into a repeatable GTM machine — no playbook, no inherited engine, just a product that works and customers that prove it.
What you'll do
- Own the pipeline number — qualified discovery meetings with ICP decision-makers. You define the target, you track it, you hit it.
- Build the outbound engine and then outgrow it: cold call, LinkedIn, email sequences — design the cadences, control the messaging, run it yourself, iterate until it compounds.
- Develop pipeline channels beyond cold outbound — webinars, trade fairs, partnerships — whatever converts.
- Hire and scale the GTM team: bring in the first BDRs, build onboarding, set daily expectations, run call reviews, give hard feedback.
- Own the tech stack — CRM, enrichment, sequencing, AI-assisted outreach — automate every repeatable workflow.
- Run discovery calls and ensure founders spend zero time on unqualified conversations.
- Define the category through LinkedIn posts, industry articles, case studies, and whitepapers that educate the market and frame the problem in our language.
What you'll need
- 2+ years in B2B/Enterprise Software with hands-on pipeline ownership — you wrote the sequence, dialed the calls, cleaned the CRM.
- Builder, not operator — you've designed outbound from scratch at least once and know the difference between activity and output.
- Category thinker — you've sold or built GTM for something the market didn't have a name for yet.
- Experience ramping junior reps from zero to consistent output and having hard feedback conversations.
- Industrial DNA — you sell to Mittelstand manufacturing fluently and know procurement cycles, budget timing, and multi-stakeholder sign-off from experience.
- Native German, strong professional English (C1+).
