About the role

As VP Service & Aftersales, you'll take a key role in building and scaling the entire after-sales business. You'll develop this area into a central growth driver and profitable business unit across the entire customer lifetime using an entrepreneurial mindset.

What you'll do

  • Develop and own a future-oriented service and aftersales strategy from vision to operational implementation including KPI tracking
  • Build the service business into a sustainable profit center using digitalization and AI tools to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities in service, maintenance, and aftersales areas
  • Report regularly to C-Level on business development and performance metrics
  • Define and develop attractive service and maintenance products
  • Design scalable service packages, maintenance contracts, and aftersales offerings
  • Work closely with Service Product Team on digital tools, platforms, and systems
  • Ensure successful and consistent rollout of service products across multiple markets
  • Manage central teams like Customer Care and collaborate with regional units and Hub Leads
  • Develop efficient structures and processes for a scalable service organization
  • Lead and develop Customer Care, Service & Maintenance, and Service Product/Tools teams
  • Build a strong second management layer and establish open, collaborative, solution-oriented team culture

What you'll need

  • Multi-year leadership experience and proven experience building and developing service or maintenance businesses
  • Demonstrable track record in scaling aftersales or service organizations
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with international organizational units
  • Deep understanding of service products, maintenance models, and aftersales business models
  • Experience building or managing service organizations as profit centers
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with high implementation strength
  • Passion for building organizations, team development, and sustainable growth
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with C-Level stakeholders
  • Fluent English skills
