Accounts Payable Working Student

About the role

We are looking for a Working Student to join our Accounting team and get real, hands-on experience in a full AP function — working with tools like DATEV and MOSS, owning meaningful processes from day one, and building practical knowledge of German accounting standards that will genuinely set you apart after graduation.

What you'll do

• Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and allocate incoming invoices in line with German accounting and tax requirements
• Payment Operations: Support the preparation of payment batches via MOSS and help track approval workflows and payment schedules
• Cost Allocation & Documentation: Manage credit card receipts, assign costs to the correct accounts, and keep financial records clean and audit-ready
• Supplier Reconciliation: Communicate directly with suppliers to resolve billing discrepancies and keep account statements in order

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• A genuine interest in accounting and finance
• Comfortable working in English day-to-day; German is a plus but not a blocker
• Organized, detail-oriented, and someone who takes ownership of their work

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Excel, DATEV, MOSS, or any ERP system
