About the role
This is a senior tax advisor position focused on scaling Germany's leading TaxTech platform while ensuring compliance with German professional tax law. You'll work at the intersection of regulatory compliance and product innovation, helping thousands of customers work with certified tax experts through advanced technology solutions.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic business unit consultation on operational and commercial matters
- Advise on operational scaling strategy and recommend high-performance software and AI solutions
- Ensure full compliance with German professional tax regulations (StBerG, BostB)
- Support internal tax expert teams to maintain efficient case processing and high operational standards
- Contribute to improved unit economics and operational excellence across internal operations and advisor networks
- Act as stakeholder for product and engineering teams, translating complex tax requirements into scalable software solutions
- Support automation of manual workflows and leverage AI opportunities to create "bionic" advisory experiences
What you'll need
- Successfully completed German tax advisor examination (Steuerberaterexamen)
- Proven track record leading teams, managing P&Ls, or leading complex operational projects with experience building scalable processes
- Deep understanding of the German tax system, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment
- View technology as an enabler rather than a threat
