About the role

We are seeking a Junior SEO Manager to elevate our online visibility through analytical thinking and technical curiosity. You'll be the interface between strategy, technology, and content, helping us scale SEO processes, ensure website hygiene, and support our international teams with precise insights and briefings.

What you'll do

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis as the foundation for our content strategy
  • Set up and monitor automated sanity checks and technical crawls (e.g., Screaming Frog) to maintain website hygiene
  • Ensure optimized content is technically and contextually implemented on the website in collaboration with the content team
  • Support Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to maximize presence in AI-powered search results
  • Independently manage and develop SEO workflows and automations using modern AI tools
  • Collaborate across international teams to translate strategic requirements into operational briefings and utilize local market insights

What you'll need

  • Completed degree in Business, Media Studies, Business Informatics, Marketing or comparable field
  • Initial practical experience in SEO (agency or in-house) and passion for search engine optimization dynamics
  • Technical aptitude with SEO tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, SISTRIX, Screaming Frog) and automation experience with LLMs, n8n, Make or Zapier
  • Analytical thinking skills with ability to recognize patterns and convert complex relationships into actionable items
  • Understanding of user intent beyond what people search for to why they search
  • Hands-on mentality with proactive project management and ability to handle multiple parallel tasks
  • Fluent German and English communication skills; additional languages (especially Spanish) are advantageous
  • Modern search mindset following LLM and AI search developments
