About the role
We're looking for a performance marketing expert to bring deep strategic expertise to our paid media channels. You will drive campaign optimization, shape bidding strategies, and build out measurement capabilities. You'll combine strategic thinking with operational excellence to unlock incremental growth and efficiency gains across the performance media portfolio.
What you'll do
- Shape and execute channel strategy: Drive strategic planning and day-to-day optimisation across key performance media channels. Set and own ROAS targets for your channels, balancing efficiency with growth objectives. Identify opportunities to test new formats, audiences, and bidding strategies that unlock incremental performance.
- Build measurement and testing frameworks: Design and lead incrementality testing initiatives to measure true channel contribution and isolate causality. Partner with Analytics to refine attribution models and develop strategic frameworks for budget allocation decisions. Champion best-in-class measurement practices and challenge conventional attribution approaches.
- Advance bidding and automation strategy: Develop and implement advanced bidding strategies across platforms (Meta, Google), staying ahead of platform innovations in automation and machine learning. Provide strategic recommendations on budget allocation and channel mix based on performance data and market trends.
- Drive strategic cross-functional initiatives: Partner with creative teams to shape ad strategy, format innovation, and messaging frameworks. Collaborate with Product to identify and prioritise optimisation opportunities across landing pages and user flows. Provide performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
What you'll need
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing with demonstrated strategic impact
- Expert-level proficiency in Google ads, Meta for Business, Smartly, TikTok
- Proven track record of scaling paid media channels while maintaining or improving efficiency
- Deep expertise in incrementality testing methodologies and measurement frameworks
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to identify growth opportunities and shape channel roadmaps
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
- Proficient in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, data visualization tools)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin. We operate on a hybrid work model and value in-person interaction in our office 3+ days per week.
