Senior Mobile QA Engineer

About the role

As a Mobile QA Engineer in SumUp's Hardware Tribe, you will work with cross-functional teams to build sustainable testing solutions for mobile applications. You will be accountable for mobile testing tools and play a critical role in designing hardware test infrastructures for HIL tests while supporting software releases.

What you'll do

• Ensure new code meets quality standards and complies with best practices
• Build and maintain test infrastructure for HIL tests with strong emphasis on Mobile QA
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage including UI and end-to-end tests
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
• Evangelize quality mindset within the Hardware tribe

What you'll need

• Expertise in Mobile QA for both Android and iOS platforms using Appium
• Experience with XCUITest (iOS) and UIAutomator2 (Android)
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (Java, Kotlin, Python)
• Knowledge of REST APIs
• Strong command of QA automation tools, ideally Appium
• Experience with manual testing, writing test cases and campaign management
