About the role
As an Expansion Manager, you will lead trawa's international growth by evaluating and entering new European energy markets. You'll work directly with founders and C-level executives to establish local entities, develop market entry strategies, and achieve the first commercial successes in new territories.
What you'll do
- Structure and establish local entities, define operational processes, and build first on-site teams
- Develop market entry strategies by analyzing regulatory and economic frameworks
- Support initial customer segmentation and acquisition to create sustainable local traction
- Plan, manage, and execute expansion projects end-to-end with focus on speed and results
- Convert successful models into standardized playbooks for future market entries
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations teams
What you'll need
- Several years of experience in fast-paced environments like top-tier strategy consulting or dynamic startups
- Outstanding project management skills with ability to implement complex issues pragmatically
- Entrepreneurial mindset with understanding of strategic and operational business building
- Analytical, goal-oriented approach with high-quality standards and hands-on mentality
- Strong affinity for digital tools and ability to think in terms of scaling
- Excellence in communication and stakeholder management across all levels
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Based in Berlin or willing to relocate, with occasional travel required
