About the role
As a LiveEO Enterprise Sales Engineer focused on our infrastructure products, Treeline and SurfaceScout, you will be paired with our Commercial Lead in EMEA, and be our DACH customer's primary technical point of contact during the sales process. You will take a consultative approach with our customers, identifying their pain points and driving technical alignment between customer needs and LiveEO's infrastructure solutions.
What you'll do
- Conduct online and in-person demonstrations of the Treeline and SurfaceScout platforms to energy infrastructure operators
- Assess customer requirements and identify technical alignment between customer needs and our solutions
- Communicate customer feedback and requirements to Product Management, Engineering, Operations and other groups within LiveEO
- Work hands-on with customers to install, enable deployment and proof of value our linear infrastructure monitoring solutions
- Conduct end-user training and enablement on the solutions, in-field validations
- Oversee the entire RFP process, ensuring thorough and competitive proposals
- Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide support before and during calls
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including executive overviews, discovery sessions, demos, and follow-up meetings
What you'll need
- 8+ years work experience with at least 3 functioning as a Pre-Sales Engineer, supporting complex software sales cycles
- Domain expertise in GIS, Remote Sensing, and geospatial with a preference for experience in Utility Vegetation or Infrastructure Management
- Experience conducting customer success site visits with a focus on expanding services based on specific customer needs
- Experience and proficiency conducting live demonstrations of geospatial platforms and software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as business and technical acumen; other regional language skills a big plus
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the year (up to 50%), with an increase during the summer and fall season
