Analytics Engineer - Marketing

About the role

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Taxfix, you'll lead the design and development of robust data models that power analytical applications, transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your specific focus will be building and enhancing Marketing Measurement capabilities across multiple markets and products, working closely with MarTech and Marketing teams to influence strategy and budget allocation.

What you'll do

• Build trusted marketing measurement foundations by designing scalable dimensional models for marketing performance across markets and products
• Develop and optimize production-grade dbt pipelines with strong engineering hygiene, documentation, and cost/performance optimization
• Implement data reliability through tests, monitoring, and pragmatic resolution of data quality issues
• Build and maintain Looker Explores and dashboards to enable self-serve analytics for teams
• Own end-to-end delivery by scoping problems with stakeholders and translating them into iterative data products
• Contribute to Analytics Engineering standards through the guild via patterns, reviews, and best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows using tools like Claude Code to accelerate modeling, testing, and debugging

What you'll need

• 2+ years relevant experience as Analytics Engineer with ability to independently deliver analytical data products
• Advanced SQL skills and strong dimensional modeling expertise
• Hands-on experience with dbt (Cloud or Core) including testing, documentation, and production workflows
• Proven ability to design practical data quality monitoring and checks
• Marketing measurement experience in B2C environment with understanding of tracking, attribution, and privacy
• Experience enabling self-serve analytics via BI tools, ideally Looker
• Proven experience using LLMs/coding agents in daily engineering work with quality validation habits
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
