About the role
You'll be the technical support specialist for 1KOMMA5°'s energy platform "Heartbeat", handling technical inquiries from field technicians, installers, partners, and support teams. You'll serve as the technical bridge between on-site colleagues and product development while identifying software/hardware issues and improvement opportunities.
What you'll do
- Answer technical inquiries from Heartbeat Tech Heroes, installers, partners, and B2C support team
- Act as technical liaison between field colleagues and product development
- Identify software and hardware errors plus product improvement potential based on feedback
- Support departments in fixing issues and developing hardware/software solutions
- Continuously optimize and develop all support processes
- Document, analyze and communicate all incoming inquiries
- Manage service portal documentation when system-wide errors are identified
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in electrical/energy engineering, automation technology, or IT systems integration
- Knowledge of photovoltaic modules, inverters, battery storage systems, network technology and IoT systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills with passion for identifying error sources through trial-and-error approach
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex processes clearly
- Fluent German (C-level) and very good English
