About the role
Lead a cross functional team of Soil Scientists and Software Engineers to develop and implement SOC models as the foundation of Klim's platform. Own and drive the product roadmap for carbon, biodiversity, and broader soil science and agronomic models, expanding capabilities over time into economic models such as farm level P&L.
What you'll do
- Translate scientific models into clear product requirements and features, driving execution from concept to production
- Improve accuracy and scalability of carbon models as the core system; expand to agronomic metrics, new practices, and new geographies
- Ensure alignment with key standards such as VERRA VM0042, GHG Protocol, SustainCERT, SAI RTF and ISOMETRIC
- Lead and prioritise the work of a cross functional team of scientists and engineers
- Partner with MRV to ensure models meet regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Farmer Sales to ensure consistency with field data
- Incorporate client and market insights into product decisions to maximise commercial impact
What you'll need
- 3 to 6 years of product management experience, ideally in data/scientific heavy or technical products
- Proven track record of shipping products end to end
- Experience running development cycles and sprints
- Ability to shape short to long term product strategy and prioritise based on impact, feasibility, and regulatory constraints
- Strong ability to understand complex models at a high level, including their assumptions, limitations, and implications for product decisions
- Ability to translate complex technical topics for non technical audiences and align multiple stakeholders across functions
- English required
Nice to have
- Degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as physics, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, or similar
- German language skills
