About the role
This is a Head of Revenue Planning position leading SumUp's global revenue planning and forecasting strategy. You'll manage a team of four Revenue Planning Managers/Associates and bridge Finance, Product, Marketing, and Sales to build unified revenue models. The role focuses on translating commercial ambition into data-driven financial outcomes across markets and product lines.
What you'll do
- Own SumUp's global revenue planning and forecasting strategy, translating commercial ambition into clear, data-driven financial outcomes
- Lead annual, quarterly, and rolling planning cycles, aligning targets, budgets, headcount, and go-to-market investments
- Build a unified revenue model across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance connecting acquisition, retention, pricing, and monetisation
- Drive scenario-based forecasting and performance insights, identifying leading indicators and surfacing risks early
- Influence capital allocation and ROI decisions to maximise sustainable, profitable growth
- Optimise commercial performance frameworks including sales capacity planning, quota setting, and incentive structures
- Lead and develop a high-performing Revenue Planning team, building a scalable planning function
What you'll need
- Deep expertise in revenue forecasting and financial modelling, ideally in Fintech, SaaS, or Payments
- Strategic yet hands-on leadership experience with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Advanced data modelling skills with ability to turn complex data into compelling business narratives
- Excellence in cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Strong empathy, clear communication, and ability to drive alignment in fast-moving, global settings
