About the role
This is a Vehicle Pricing Specialist position at CarOnSale, a Berlin-based automotive tech scale-up. You'll use your automotive expertise to analyze vehicle conditions, set precise market prices, and provide pricing recommendations for their digital B2B marketplace that connects dealers across Europe.
What you'll do
- Analyze vehicle condition and equipment to set precise market prices using databases and valuation tools
- Identify value-adding and value-reducing features and assess their impact on market value
- Monitor the European used car market and document price developments using digital tools
- Contribute ideas to develop and improve analysis and valuation tools
- Share knowledge with pricing managers and colleagues to continuously develop market expertise
What you'll need
- Practical experience as a buyer in automotive dealerships or vehicle trade with comprehensive market knowledge
- Pricing expertise understanding how equipment, model generations, and vehicle features affect market value
- Analytical and digital skills with experience in price research and comparing purchase/sale prices
- Willingness to learn and embrace digital innovation, including modern AI tools
- Excellent German language skills in speaking and writing
