About the role
We are looking for a proactive, curious, and eager CRM Manager to join our Headquarter team in Berlin. In this mid-level role, you will play a key part in executing our newsletter formats and lifecycle strategy, to maintain long-lasting relationships with our members through personalized, context-driven messaging. You will manage the activation of member data to develop and execute communications plans across email, push notifications, and in-app messages.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the ideation, planning, and execution of regular newsletter formats and manual campaigns (emails, pushes, and in-apps)
- Proactively contribute to the lifecycle management strategy by setting up new touchpoints and tests within user flows to improve member experience and increase retention
- Leverage consumer behavioral, lifestyle, transactional, and demographic data to deliver relevant marketing insights and personalized content
- Monitor campaigns, build reports, and analyze KPIs to continuously optimize performance and verify the impact of communications through hypothesis testing
- Support the team in leveraging AI to automate existing processes and scout for new opportunities to keep CRM multi-channel communications state of the art
- Plan and implement A/B tests on a regular basis using dynamic templates and analyze results to refine our approach
- Build relationships and partner with stakeholders from Tech, Product, B2B, and Customer Care to identify new opportunities and ensure deliverability
What you'll need
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Digital Marketing and CRM, with a solid understanding of both mobile and web environments
- Hands-on experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Airship, Braze, Iterable, or similar tools
- Commercially savvy and data-driven, with a love for challenging your daily work by looking into data to generate new ideas
- Innovation mindset and AI curiosity, embracing the newest in CRM and proactively scouting for new opportunities to leverage AI and automate existing processes
- Organized and proactive, able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously at a high pace while maintaining quality
- Experience working with dynamic templates and taking the customer's perspective to ensure a great experience
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English; able to communicate in German fluently
