Product Manager - Autonomous Airborne Systems

About the role

This is a Senior Product Manager position leading the development of next-generation autonomous airborne systems for defense applications. You will own the product lifecycle from concept to operational deployment, bridging cutting-edge AI research with safety-critical military requirements while defining roadmaps for systems leveraging reinforcement learning, advanced perception, and swarming capabilities.

What you'll do

• Define and execute product vision for autonomous aerial platforms focusing on autonomy, robotics, and swarming behaviors
• Drive transition of R&D prototypes into robust, field-deployable systems
• Ensure autonomy features meet rigorous safety-critical system standards for contested environments
• Translate military operational needs into technical specifications for perception, path planning, and control teams
• Act as primary technical interface for government customers and internal stakeholders

What you'll need

• 10+ years in technical product management or engineering leadership within autonomous systems, aerospace, defense, robotics, or AI
• Proven history of shipping complex hardware/software systems to real-world operational environments
• Deep familiarity with autonomous systems, perception stacks, AI-driven behaviors and safety-critical system design

Nice to have

• Hands-on software development experience (C++, Rust, Python, ROS)
• Background in military operations or defense acquisition
• Experience with multi-agent systems or collaborative autonomy
