Senior Technical Product Manager - Banking infra

About the role

Senior Technical Product Manager role focused on banking infrastructure at Trade Republic, Europe's largest savings platform. You'll own core banking components including payment rails, ledger systems, and the core banking platform while collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure scalability and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Take full ownership of core banking components such as payment rails, ledger, and core banking platform
• Define long-term vision and prioritize initiatives while ensuring reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance
• Drive product development with a 360° mindset, collaborating closely with engineering teams
• Line manage a team of engineers and serve as a strong partner to engineering leadership
• Use data-driven insights to identify problems, prioritize initiatives, and break down complex solutions
• Define success through clear metrics and KPIs aligned with strategic business goals
• Build future-proof, modular, and resilient systems ready for company scale
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, compliance, security, legal, and data teams

What you'll need

• Minimum 4 years of product management experience in user-facing or technical products
• Experience with platforms, distributed systems, or SDKs
• Founder mindset with ability to work in autonomous, ambiguous, and fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience successfully working with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, security, operations, and design
• Systems-thinking approach and ability to navigate technical trade-offs
