About the role
This is a senior Business Operations & Strategy role focused on developing go-to-market strategies for new category verticals at GetYourGuide. You'll work on expanding the marketplace inventory by identifying growth opportunities and launching new business categories like Shows & Events.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new category verticals to drive business growth
- Gather in-depth understanding of individual industries and craft value propositions to suppliers
- Assemble and prioritize new categories based on market research and financial opportunity
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other teams for seamless market launches
- Conduct data analyses to identify growth opportunities and engage with senior stakeholders
What you'll need
- 6+ years in Business Development, Strategy, or Marketing in fast-paced environment
- Experience in marketplace or SaaS company preferred
- Self-starter with sharp commercial acumen and test-and-learn mindset
- Strategic thinking skills to break down complex problems into actionable plans
- Data analysis expertise using Excel, Looker, and external datasets
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead without detailed instructions
- Strong cross-functional project management and stakeholder alignment skills
