Senior Software Engineer - Energy Platform

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Energy Platform team, you will have the chance to dive deep into and directly work on intelligent and renewable energy systems. We span everything from working on and with hardware, to ingesting data from and controlling IoT devices through the cloud, and building intuitive user experiences.

What you'll do

• Building software that delivers incremental value in each iteration, making an impact towards climate goals
• Improving developer happiness by improving stability and automating load tests, vulnerability scans, and deployments
• Growing & learning - sharing your knowledge on technologies like Kafka and graceful degradation while learning new skills like test-driven development in React and Azure Bicep
• Working on architecture & vision - analyzing requirements critically and exploring opportunities to solve organization-spanning challenges with elegant architectural solutions
• Steering for empathy and understanding by asking critical questions and listening to operations, craftspeople, sales and other stakeholders to balance needs and create solutions that address underlying challenges
