About the role
As Group PM for the Business Acceleration Tech Area, you'll set the direction across Console, Identity, Monetization, and Business Acceleration tracks: setting strategy, coaching PMs, and driving the outcomes that make DeepL the Language AI platform that enterprises trust to scale.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the product strategy for the Business Acceleration Tech Area, connecting the dots across Console, Identity, Monetization, and Business Acceleration tracks into a cohesive, compelling vision
- Lead and coach a team of Product Managers, setting clear goals, building their product skills, and creating an environment where they do their best work
- Drive the org design and ways of working so teams have clear ownership, tight feedback loops, and deliver measurable impact
- Structure and drive complex, ambiguous decisions: defining options, trade-offs, and recommendations that stakeholders and executives can act on
- Own the strategy and roadmap for how large organisations onboard, manage teams, configure access, and scale DeepL usage across thousands of users
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and key accounts to understand enterprise requirements and build features that win competitive deals and reduce churn
- Jointly with Engineering define and drive the platform strategy for how new DeepL products integrate account, team management, and billing capabilities into their user experiences
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product management experience, including time as a Group PM or Lead PM managing other PMs and multiple product teams simultaneously
- Strong B2B SaaS background, ideally with experience across both customer-facing enterprise products (identity, access, billing, admin) and internal platform/tooling work
- Experience building for large enterprises (Fortune 500 scale), with a track record of shipping features that unblock enterprise deals
- Platform thinking: you understand internal adoption challenges and know how to build capabilities that teams want to use
- Strong coaching and team leadership skills: you know how to develop PMs, set meaningful goals, and create clarity even when the problem space is complex
- Data-informed: you establish baseline metrics, validate hypotheses with evidence, and make decisions with incomplete information when needed
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style for engineering teams, executive audiences, and enterprise customers alike
- Comfortable influencing without authority: you can build trust with senior stakeholders, navigate competing priorities across teams, and drive alignment even when the path forward is contested
What they offer
- Remote work and flexible hours
- Diverse, internationally distributed team of 90+ nationalities
- Open communication and regular direct feedback
