Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue Analytics and Modeling

About the role

As a Financial Analyst within the FP&A team at Taxfix, you'll be responsible for strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and creating business and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. You'll work closely with the Director of FP&A and collaborate across teams including accounting, marketing, product and data.

What you'll do

• Prepare and monitor business performance especially focused on revenue to enable quick actions and steering
• Support creation of financial presentations for board meetings and financing rounds
• Take ownership of parts of financial planning process including revenue insights, trend analysis and business modeling
• Support creation of monthly business and financial reports for stakeholders
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and create in-depth business insights for strategic decisions
• Work closely with senior stakeholders in business partnering capacity
• Manage own projects to drive financial acumen, reporting and planning processes
• Collaborate with data team to facilitate delivery of financial dashboards

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in high-growth environment supporting Leadership or analytical function in investment banking, consulting or technology
• Strong proficiency in Excel, planning tools and cloud-based technologies with automation mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Ability to work independently and interpret meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data
• Exceptional skills in financial planning, financial analysis and data analytics
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools
• Familiarity with customer cohorts, lifetime value and marketing ROI
• Confidence with financial statements and accounting principles

• Experience with SQL, R and Python
