Finance Manager (FP&A)

About the role

We're seeking a Junior Finance Manager (FP&A) to join our Finance team in Berlin and take ownership of core financial planning and analysis activities. You'll work closely with senior finance leadership to translate data into insights that shape strategic decisions while helping to scale and professionalize our Finance function through process improvements and automation.

What you'll do

• Own and continuously improve monthly management reporting, including KPIs, variance analyses, and business performance insights
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning to improve accuracy and transparency
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic, investment, and operational decisions
• Automate and scale FP&A processes, improving data structures, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational data into actionable financial insights

What you'll need

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in finance or analytical role with solid academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Advanced expertise in Google Sheets and SQL
• Automation and tech mindset with curiosity about process automation and AI
• Startup mentality with hands-on, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lucanet, Datev, or similar finance systems
• German language skills
