Account Manager:In Landwirtschaft - Ackerbau und/oder Tierhaltung

About the role

This is a supply chain project management position at an AgriTech startup focused on making regenerative agriculture scalable and financially attractive for farmers. You'll manage projects with food industry partners to make their supply chains more sustainable while building relationships with farmers to implement regenerative practices.

What you'll do

• Manage supply chain projects and develop partnerships with food industry companies to reduce emissions and create sustainable value chains
• Convince farmers to participate in projects and be open to long-term, step-by-step expansion of regenerative practices
• Support farmers working with the company and build strong, trustworthy relationships
• Ensure project goals are met and develop creative solutions when objectives are at risk
• Develop strategies for successful project implementation and execute them throughout the year

What you'll need

• Several years of professional experience with project management and regenerative agriculture competencies
• Experience with dairy farms and/or crop production and their challenges
• Agricultural background: grew up on a farm, completed agricultural training or studies
• Strong desire to find solutions for long-term sustainable agricultural challenges
• Excellent communication skills for direct personal, telephone and written exchange with farmers
• Fluent in German and English
