Brokerage Operations - Internship

About the role

As a Brokerage Operations Intern, you will dive into the fast-paced world of capital markets, supporting daily trading activities, risk management, and order monitoring. This is a unique opportunity to learn trade execution, algorithmic trading, and investment management from industry experts while supporting the operational rollout of new investment products.

What you'll do

• Support daily monitoring of trade executions and order flows to ensure client trades are processed accurately and on time
• Assist in monitoring algorithmic trading flows and evaluating daily operational risks
• Support continuous monitoring of trading activities to identify potential market abuse scenarios
• Assist in managing and expanding the investment universe across European and EMEA jurisdictions
• Support daily operational processes for trading equities, mutual funds, and ELTIFs
• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams on research and operational readiness for new product launches
• Participate in projects aimed at improving execution mechanisms and optimizing trading infrastructure

What you'll need

• Strong passion for financial markets, data analysis, trading, and the fintech ecosystem
• Basic understanding of market structures, trade lifecycles, and financial instruments
• High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude
• Comfortable working with data and eager to learn trading platforms and market data tools
• Fluency in English required

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mutual funds, ELTIFs, or algorithmic trading concepts
• German language skills
• Experience with Bloomberg or similar market data tools
