About the role
Drive adoption of n8n by building AI-powered, builder-first product experiences that make it effortless to create, iterate, and scale workflows. You'll own product work end-to-end from strategy and discovery to shipping and iteration, focusing on turning powerful automation capabilities into experiences people genuinely want to use.
What you'll do
- Identify high-leverage moments in the builder journey and ship improvements that make n8n easier to start with and succeed with
- Turn complexity into simple, intuitive UX through collaboration with Design and Engineering teams
- Lead AI product strategy by tracking the AI landscape and translating it into pragmatic product bets
- Design trustworthy and controllable AI experiences that account for non-determinism and failure states
- Engage deeply with community and customers to understand their goals and blockers across use cases
- Define success metrics, instrument key journeys, and use data to guide prioritization
- Align and lead cross-functional teams through clear decisions and strong communication
- Validate hypotheses through research, prototyping, and testing with fast learning loops
What you'll need
- Proven product management experience shipping impactful products in fast-paced environments
- Builder mindset with entrepreneurial approach and hands-on prototyping abilities
- Strong AI curiosity and practical knowledge of LLM features, prompts, and evaluation
- Excellent product and UX taste for turning complexity into elegant experiences
- Technical fluency comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, auth, and system constraints
- Data fluency to define success metrics and use evidence for iteration
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and prioritize ruthlessly among many directions
- Strong influence without authority and clear communication skills
Nice to have
- Experimentation experience running A/B tests and knowing when they help vs slow down progress
- Developer tooling or product experience building for technical users
- Community or open-source experience working with developer ecosystems
- Integrations depth shipping products that rely on third-party APIs
- Cloud/SaaS exposure partnering on reliability and enterprise requirements
- Remote-first experience collaborating effectively across time zones
