About the role
As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and smooth collaboration across teams. You'll work on projects that directly impact how our company operates every day.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable IT infrastructure components across network, identity, and endpoint systems
- Manage and enhance our MDM landscape for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, including patch and lifecycle management
- Implement automation, workflows, and integrations across tools such as Google Workspace, Okta, Zscaler, or Atlassian
- Troubleshoot complex issues (2nd/3rd level) and support IT projects, migrations, and rollouts
- Strengthen security, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure reliability and compliance
- Collaborate with teams across departments to align IT solutions with business needs
- Create and maintain technical documentation, processes, and guidelines
What you'll need
- Degree or vocational training in IT or equivalent experience, with 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge in at least two of Google Workspace, Okta (especially Workflows), Zscaler, or Atlassian
- Experience with automation/scripting (e.g Python, GoogleScript, JavaScript, Powershell)
- Strong English skills: you feel confident negotiating and communication clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and a proactive approach to system improvement
- Analytical thinking, structured working style and ability to work autonomously in a collaborative team environment
