About the role
You'll work as a Senior Frontend Infrastructure & Tooling Engineer helping development teams deploy modern frontend applications to the cloud using continuous delivery practices. You'll be part of the Tech Platform tribe, working with cutting-edge technologies to shape the vision of Raisin's Frontend Platform while ensuring highly automated software development lifecycles.
What you'll do
- Optimize Frontend applications for performance and scalability to improve customer experience
- Drive internal platform efforts and improve development tools according to modern principles
- Build development infrastructure for stream-aligned teams and drive automation projects
- Research, assess, develop and maintain new technology solutions for the Frontend Platform
- Own, maintain and continuously evolve a large-scale Frontend monorepo ensuring scalability and reliability
- Optimize and scale shared CI pipeline, improving build performance and developer productivity
- Act as "Frontend First Aid" contact, unblocking engineers on infrastructure and build issues
- Enhance developer experience by streamlining workflows and reducing friction across the toolchain
- Drive architectural decisions and shape Frontend platform evolution aligned with engineering standards
What you'll need
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full Stack engineer
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture and monorepo setup
- Good understanding of Frontend build tools like Webpack, Rollup, Babel
- Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and modern CI/CD automation
- Great English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js, Static Site Generators, JAM-Stack, and headless CMS
- Knowledge of material-ui
