About the role
This role focuses on evaluating and qualifying new hardware components for PV installations, conducting technical risk analyses, and ensuring seamless integration into installation and assembly processes.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and qualify new hardware components such as PV modules, substructures etc. and conduct technical risk analyses and integration tests
- Plan and accompany comprehensive functional and quality tests of new hardware in collaboration with external testing laboratories to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Actively contribute to smoothly integrating new hardware into our installation and assembly processes
- Design and optimize the approval process for new suppliers and products in close collaboration with SCM, Hardware, Procurement and IPEX (Installation Excellence)
- Drive continuous improvement of the installation standard in the DC area and work closely with the QM installation team
