About the role

This is an Engineering Lead position for Frontend & Mobile Platform at Raisin, focusing on building internal developer platforms and leading engineering teams. You'll drive the adoption of modern technologies while managing the full delivery cycle of web and mobile applications in a hybrid work environment based in Berlin.

What you'll do

  • Manage full E2E delivery cycle of web and mobile applications from requirements to delivery
  • Lead and develop engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Drive OKR process and facilitate team strategy and planning
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and resolve impediments for the team
  • Build and scale Internal Development Platform for client-side development
  • Establish performance standards and provide coaching for team members
  • Drive technical and architectural discussions
  • Manage complex cross-team software projects

What you'll need

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of leadership/people management experience
  • 5+ years hands-on Frontend or Mobile Engineering experience (TypeScript, React, React Native, Next.js)
  • Experience introducing and scaling Internal Development Platform for client-side development
  • Professional expertise with cloud services (AWS CloudFront/S3, Netlify, Vercel)
  • In-depth knowledge of modern DevOps and DevEx practices for Frontend and Mobile development
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, mobile build automation, and Terraform
  • Track record with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, BFF layer, CMS, feature flags
  • 1+ year experience leading distributed/remote/hybrid teams
  • Very good English communication skills
