About the role
This is a hands-on TechOps Engineer position managing IT devices, tooling and practices at a growing fintech scale-up. You'll combine technical excellence with strategic thinking to drive improvements in technology management across the company while ensuring day-to-day IT operations run smoothly.
What you'll do
- Drive improvements in onboarding/offboarding, device lifecycle, and access management
- Design and implement automations and scalable workflows across Jira, Google Workspace, and other core tools
- Identify and reduce repetitive work through automation, including modern tooling and AI
- Manage device fleet with JumpCloud and drive improvements in compliance, security, and asset health
- Provide high-quality, hands-on IT support to employees across the company
- Partner with stakeholders on tooling and vendor-related decisions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams
- Maintain office hardware and ensure reliable workplace setup
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve internal tech stack and processes
What you'll need
- Significant experience in IT/TechOps, ideally in fast-paced or scaling tech companies
- Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows device management
- Experience with Google Workspace administration and Jira automation
- Understanding of IT security, access controls, and hardware lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with ITSM and supporting employees efficiently
- Knowledge of office networking for infrastructure and troubleshooting
- Systems thinking combined with hands-on execution abilities
- Strong technical problem-solving skills for complex device and infrastructure challenges
- Clear communication skills to simplify complex ideas for all audiences
- Enablement mindset focused on helping others move faster
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting or API-based automation
- Knowledge of identity providers and access models
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency
