Site Reliability Engineer – Data and ML Platform

About the role

We're looking for a Software/System Engineer with experience building and operating production-grade data and compute intensive systems to join our team in building the largest savings platform in Europe.

What you'll need

• Background in Software/System Engineering with experience building and operating production-grade data and compute intensive systems
• Good understanding of distributed systems, orchestration and networking
• Proficiency in system design, handling scaling strategies, and balancing trade-offs like availability vs consistency and latency vs throughput
• Define reusable patterns and build tools that accelerate development and improve operational excellence and efficiency
• Well-rounded understanding of managing business-critical systems in cloud infrastructure, following best practices for observability and scalability
• Interested in real-time data streams, low-latency systems, and working with different data storage, retrieval, and processing approaches
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-starter with high autonomy, and a focus on knowledge sharing and team growth
