About the role

This is a Talent Acquisition Internship focused on being the operational backbone of the talent team at trawa, a climate-tech startup. You'll manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to candidate experience, working with modern tools and AI solutions to help build high-performing teams in the energy transition space.

What you'll do

  • Source candidates via LinkedIn, conduct initial profile assessments and handle outreach
  • Screen applications against basic requirements and guide candidates through the hiring pipeline
  • Maintain ATS systems and tracking tools to keep all stakeholders informed
  • Organize interviews end-to-end including scheduling, coordination and information management
  • Ensure strong candidate experience through timely communication and process guidance
  • Collect and follow up on interview feedback from stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional hiring across Product, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams
  • Participate in talent team routines and provide ad-hoc support during busy hiring periods

What you'll need

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor/Master studies (gap year or between study phases also possible)
  • Passion for operational excellence and measurable process improvement
  • Experience with productivity tools like Google Calendar or willingness to learn quickly
  • Structured, detail-oriented work approach with big-picture thinking
  • Clear, reliable communication skills and genuine interest in recruiting operations
  • Hands-on mentality with ability to take ownership and drive results
  • Empathetic and professional approach with candidates and stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks early
  • Affinity for digital tools and automation technologies
  • Native German and fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Based in Berlin and able to work on-site
