About the role
As an Office Management Intern / Working Student, you will take a leading role in making our new office move-in a success and help ensure our day-to-day office operations run smoothly. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial opportunity to drive a high-impact project end-to-end: planning, coordinating, executing, and continuously improving how our workplace supports a fast-growing team.
What you'll do
- Own the office move-in end-to-end: coordinate timelines, vendors, deliveries, and all on-site logistics, from the first checklist to the "we're fully operational" moment.
- Build and run lightweight office operations: set up repeatable processes for office supplies, employee and visitor access, meeting rooms, mail handling, and general workplace organisation.
- Manage vendor and stakeholder coordination: be the key contact for external service providers (e.g., facility services, cleaning, maintenance, internet, furniture) and align internal teams on needs, priorities, and constraints.
- Improve how we work in the office: identify friction points, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
- Support leadership with ad-hoc initiatives (e.g., small process rollouts, internal documentation, office communication), always aiming for operational excellence.
What you'll need
- Background in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Facility Management, Operations/Service Management, or a similar area.
- Entrepreneurial problem solver: you take ownership, think in structured ways, and enjoy turning ambiguity into a clear plan.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., startup, hospitality, operations, events, office/facilities, consulting, or a similarly lean organisation).
- Comfortable with frequent change and shifting priorities.
- Structured, reliable, and service-minded; you like creating environments where others can do great work.
- German required at a professional level (spoken and written); English proficiency expected for working in an international team.
What they offer
- Fixed compensation of €2,425 per month.
- Flexible working hours with shared core hours from 12:00 to 16:00.
- Hybrid work setup in Berlin, with encouragement to spend at least 3 days per week in the office.
- Regular mentorship, stretch opportunities, and a clear career development framework.
- Workation: work remotely from anywhere in the EU for up to 60 days per year.
