Commercial Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a commercial lawyer to join Talon.One's Legal Department in Berlin. This role focuses on supporting sales and go-to-market teams with commercial contracts and partnerships, offering the opportunity to shape the in-house legal function at a fast-growing tech company.

What you'll do

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, RFPs, and SLAs with enterprise customers and business partners
• Support partnership agreements, marketing events, conferences, and sponsorship arrangements
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and address ad hoc legal queries from sales, go-to-market teams, and other stakeholders
• Engage directly with enterprise customers in negotiations and contract discussions
• Conduct horizon scanning, monitoring legal developments and interpreting their impact on the business

What you'll need

• 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in an in-house environment, ideally at a tech startup or fast-growing company
• Experience with commercial contracts, particularly in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
• Qualified to practice as a lawyer in Europe (German experience is a plus)
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple matters simultaneously
• Ability to communicate complex legal advice effectively and provide practical solutions
• Fluent in German and English
