About the role
This is a Senior Software Engineer position within N26's Banking Foundations domain, focusing on building secure and compliant banking services. You'll work on architecting new features, maintaining high-quality code standards, and mentoring junior team members in a cross-functional environment.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Tech Lead on architecting new features from conception to completion
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in production environment
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance
- Stay current with technology trends and propose innovations during Get Stuff Done Days
- Uphold technical standards across the product within your cross-functional team
What you'll need
- Experience developing software using JVM languages and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems
- Sound understanding of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres
- Experience working in modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS
- Full professional proficiency in English

- Experience with Kotlin programming language
