About the role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy secure identity and access management (IAM) solutions across Scout24's digital real estate ecosystem. You'll work in cross-functional teams to build scalable applications integrating Single Sign-On, Identity Federation, and Multi-Factor Authentication capabilities.
What you'll do
- Design and implement authentication and authorization systems aligned with business goals and compliance needs
- Develop secure backend logic using Java/Kotlin with Spring and serverless TypeScript, plus React interfaces
- Integrate and administer Okta, implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and custom sign-on policies
- Develop and automate identity workflows using Okta Workflows and monitor SSO systems
- Manage API security and token management for distributed services
- Own full development lifecycle following "You build it you run it" principle
- Mentor engineers and advocate for clean code, continuous delivery, and test-driven development
- Continuously evaluate and improve security, scalability, and usability of IAM systems
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Significant experience as Senior Software Engineer working on secure, distributed, cloud-based systems
- Expertise in backend development (Java/Kotlin, Spring)
- Strong hands-on experience with Okta administration and integration
- In-depth knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, MFA, and Identity Federation
- Familiarity with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Proven ability to collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with mentoring experience
- Experience leveraging AI tools for problem-solving while maintaining human oversight
