About the role
You'll serve as a Senior People Partner at Upvest, acting as a strategic business partner to align people initiatives with company objectives. This role involves managing performance systems, developing leadership programs, and driving organizational excellence across Germany, UK, and Europe in a fast-growing fintech environment.
What you'll do
- Act as strategic partner to business, aligning people initiatives with company objectives
- Manage end-to-end performance appraisal systems and serve as internal performance management expert
- Design and implement leadership development programs and foster Leadership Community
- Lead evolution of job architecture and career frameworks for clear progression paths
- Lead salary benchmarking initiatives and create scalable salary bands
- Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent challenges
- Analyze organizational health data and develop targeted improvement interventions
- Ensure compliance with employment law across Germany, UK, and Europe
What you'll need
- Proven experience as Senior People Partner or HR Business Partner in fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Expertise in performance management with track record managing complex appraisal systems
- Extensive experience building Career Frameworks and Job Levels in scaling environments
- Deep knowledge of salary benchmarking methodologies and structured salary band creation
- Proven experience building leadership frameworks and collaborative leadership culture
- Strong command of German employment landscape, plus UK and European regulations knowledge
- Advanced analytical skills to translate organizational data into actionable strategies
- Consultative mindset with ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change
- Exceptional communication skills and proactive, owner-oriented approach
Nice to have
- Experience in Fintech or financial services industry
- Experience working in multi-hub or remote-first European organization
- Familiarity with HR tech stacks and data visualization tools for people analytics
- Experience leveraging AI tools for people consultation and data analysis
