About the role
We're seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join N26's Investments & Savings team, building trading and savings features for crypto, stocks, ETFs, and managed funds. You'll work on a real-time trading platform that operates in a highly regulated financial environment with rapidly evolving requirements.

- Work in cross-functional teams to understand how the entire product ecosystem fits together
- Take ownership and drive product impact through technical execution
- Bridge the gap between product requirements and technical implementation
- Engage in knowledge-sharing within and beyond your team
- Work with Agile development methodologies in a fast-moving market environment
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years building high-quality Android applications at fast-paced tech companies or fintech startups
- Experience with Android Open Source Platform and Material Design principles
- Strong Kotlin experience with reactive programming, coroutines, and Flow
- Experience building responsive, scalable mobile solutions
- Strong focus on code quality, architecture, and testing practices
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
Nice to have
- Experience with Model-View-ViewModel architectural patterns
- Experience with Test/Behavior Driven Development and Dependency Injection
- Active participation in Android community meetups and conferences
