Data Science Manager, Supply

About the role

Lead the Supply Data Products team at GetYourGuide, building AI and ML systems that power the supply side of their travel marketplace. You'll shape the technical vision for AI/ML across the supply domain while managing a team of Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers to deliver production-grade solutions that help activity providers succeed at scale.

What you'll do

• Shape the technical vision for AI/ML across GetYourGuide's supply domain and own the roadmap for intelligent systems
• Lead a team of Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers building systems that power the supply side of the marketplace
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to identify high-leverage opportunities and turn them into production solutions
• Act as thought partner to Product and Business, turning ambiguous requests into strategic domain-level initiatives
• Create an environment where talented people are engaged, supported, and growing with high standards and strong ownership
• Bring high-impact AI systems to production at pace, balancing speed with quality, reliability, and customer trust
• Combine deep technical expertise in LLMs and production AI/ML systems with strong people leadership

What you'll need

• Proven experience managing high-performing Data Science and MLOps teams with measurable impact
• Strong hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and production ML systems in fast-paced organizations
• Experience leading design and delivery of customer-facing AI/LLM systems in production
• Deep understanding of customer problems and ability to co-own problem framing with Product Managers
• Proven experience driving initiatives across multiple teams in large organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English for technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Experience on the supply (B2B) side of a marketplace in pricing, demand forecasting, catalog quality, or inventory optimization
