Platform Engineer - Agentic Systems

About the role

Join the Platform Engineering Team to build the digital backbone for an AI-native Software Development Life Cycle. You'll enable human developers to focus on architecture while AI agents handle implementation details in the renewable energy transition.

What you'll do

• Establish machine-readable context foundation for AI agents to navigate systems, ownership, and infrastructure
• Ensure continuous and safe software releases, especially for agent-built code
• Create standardized golden paths for both human and agentic development
• Use KPIs like System Availability and Change Lead Time to prioritize work
• Design, build, and maintain resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure

What you'll need

• 4+ years experience in SRE, Developer Experience, Platform, Cloud or Backend Engineering
• Proficiency with agentic tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex
• Strong grasp of "Day 2" operations and system reliability
• Excellent writing skills to communicate clearly with humans and agents
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or TypeScript
• Experience with public cloud providers, ideally Google Cloud Platform
• Very good English skills, German is a plus
• Residency in Germany

• Prior experience with IoT applications
• Interest in climate tech industry
• Experience working in scale-up environment
