About the role
As a Senior Workplace Specialist at GetYourGuide, you'll enhance the employee workspace experience by managing facilities operations, vendor relationships, and space optimization across their international office portfolio. You'll ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while implementing sustainable practices that support the company's culture of innovation.
What you'll do
- Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Negotiate and supervise contracts with contractors and build supply chains across the office portfolio
- Manage brokers, monitor contracts, and build relationships with stakeholders in international offices
- Plan building layouts, handle renovations, and optimize workspace utilization
- Monitor facility budgets, manage utility expenses, and approve maintenance expenditures
- Plan and implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices
What you'll need
- 4-5 years of experience in facilities management, health and safety regulations, and workplace obligations in Germany
- Proven track record of leading larger projects on time and within budget with at least 2 successful examples
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to balance conflicting demands
- Experience leading small teams and/or vendor workstreams with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and German
Nice to have
- License in facility management and/or ASR certification
- Experience with CAFM systems
- Experience in facilities management in other countries
