About the role
As a Entrepreneur in Residence Intern at Plato, you will play a key role in driving our growth by supporting critical sales and customer success initiatives and work directly with our leadership team. You will have the opportunity to develop your own sales pipeline and manage the sales process end-to-end.
What you'll do
- Develop your own and support Plato's sales pipeline end-to-end, including conducting market research, personalized outreach, lead qualification, stakeholder mapping, product demos, and contracting.
- Collaborate with the Plato GTM team on the design and implementation of our GTM strategy, and deepen strategic alliances.
- Support top-of-funnel sales and marketing activities, such as LinkedIn campaigns and sales materials, and help organize Plato's participation in events by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and engaging with prospects.
- Tackle key customer success activities, including preparing and conducting customer workshops and onboarding sessions, and tracking customer engagement.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, gathering feedback, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the Plato software and technical setup.
What you'll need
- Bachelor degree / Master student in a technical field (industrial engineering, informatics, data science, or similar), or in a business administration degree, with the tech savviness to become an expert in the Plato software.
- 2+ internships and/or work experience in a tech startup, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a similar field.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences, including customers, investors, and partners.
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive your own projects, take ownership of diverse tasks, and embrace ambiguity by being flexible in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities to perform various analyses, tackle complex problems, and ensure high-quality outputs.
- Extensive experience with Excel (Sheets) and PowerPoint (Google Slides); experience with Google Workspace and CRM systems is a plus.
- Native German speaker (non-negotiable), with written and spoken English proficiency (C1+).
